Where appropriate, Prana Praday can provide Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) alongside practical post-operative support, taking into consideration your individual recovery and medical guidance.
The timing and type of treatment are determined individually. Medical clearance may be required before treatment begins.

Post-Surgical Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle technique using light, rhythmic movements designed to encourage lymphatic fluid movement.
Where appropriate following surgery, MLD may be incorporated into a client’s post-operative care to support the management of swelling and comfort during recovery.
Post-surgical MLD is not a one-size-fits-all treatment. The technique, treatment area and timing are adapted according to the procedure performed, stage of recovery and relevant medical guidance.
Nurse-Led Post-Operative Support
Kavita’s background as a Registered Nurse enables Prana Praday to offer practical post-operative support alongside appropriate lymphatic care.
Depending on your individual needs, this may include:

- Assistance with post-operative showers
- Wound dressing support
