About Us
Prana Praday was founded from a deeply personal journey of understanding the human body, healing and wellbeing.
The inspiration for Prana Praday was planted during a time of profound loss, when the founder sought to better understand health, illness, recovery and how supportive care can help individuals through challenging periods of their lives.
What began as a search for deeper understanding evolved into a commitment to compassionate, evidence-informed care that supports physical and emotional wellbeing. Prana Praday represents a calm, respectful approach to care — where safety, trust and individual needs are central to every treatment.
Who We Are
Prana Praday is a nurse-led lymphatic drainage, remedial massage and post-surgical care clinic in Fulham, Adelaide, providing personalised, evidence-informed care tailored to each client’s individual needs.
Our approach combines professional clinical knowledge with gentle therapeutic techniques, with a strong focus on safety, comfort and clear communication.
Most appointments are provided at our Fulham clinic, with mobile appointments available for eligible post-surgical and acute-recovery clients across Adelaide.
Each session begins with consideration of the client’s health history, circumstances and treatment goals so that care can be adapted appropriately.
Meet Kavita
Kavita is a Registered Nurse who graduated from Flinders University in 2015. She brings diverse clinical experience across hospital-at-home services, care of older adults, complex acute care, surgical care, chronic disease management and palliative care.
Her professional journey led her to further explore massage therapy and Manual Lymphatic Drainage as complementary approaches to care, recovery and wellbeing.
Kavita continues to develop her knowledge through ongoing education and professional development, with a focus on providing safe, informed and evolving services to her clients.
She places strong importance on creating a calm, respectful environment where clients feel listened to, supported and comfortable throughout their care.
What We Do
Pre & Post-Surgical Care (Plastic & Cosmetic)
Prana Praday provides personalised support for clients preparing for or recovering from plastic and cosmetic procedures, including liposuction, BBL, tummy tuck/abdominoplasty, Fleur-de-lis procedures, breast procedures, thighplasty and brachioplasty.
Following surgery, swelling, discomfort and changes in the tissues can form part of the recovery process. Where appropriate and consistent with medical guidance, Manual Lymphatic Drainage may be incorporated into a client’s post-operative care.
With her background as a Registered Nurse, Kavita can also assist with:
- Compression garment support
- Post-operative shower assistance
- Wound dressing support
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage where appropriate
- General post-operative support within the scope of the service
Where appropriate and with the client’s consent, Kavita can communicate with the client’s surgeon, doctor or nursing team regarding relevant post-operative instructions and care requirements.
Post-surgical care is available at the Fulham clinic, with mobile appointments available for eligible post-surgical and acute-recovery clients across Adelaide.
All treatment is provided with professional judgement and respect for medical guidance. Medical clearance may be required depending on the procedure, stage of recovery and individual circumstances.
Who May Consider Manual Lymphatic Drainage?
Manual Lymphatic Drainage may be considered by people seeking support with lymphatic health, swelling management, lymphoedema care, appropriate post-surgical recovery, or gentle therapeutic care.
Suitability depends on your individual health history, symptoms and circumstances. Some medical conditions may require clearance from your doctor, surgeon or treating healthcare professional before treatment.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a complementary therapy and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.
Our Approach
Our Philosophy
Prana Praday is built on the belief that healing extends beyond physical symptoms. Mental and emotional wellbeing play an important role in how the body responds to illness, injury, and recovery.
Our treatments aim to support the body gently while fostering a sense of calm, reassurance, and trust — allowing clients to feel supported throughout their healing journey.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY
In the spirit of reconciliation, Prana Praday acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, and community.
We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
