About Us

Prana Praday was founded from a deeply personal journey of understanding the human body, healing, and wellbeing.

The inspiration for Prana Praday was planted during a time of profound loss, when the founder sought to better understand how disease manifests within the body and how holistic, supportive care can assist individuals through illness, recovery, and restoration.

What began as a search for deeper understanding evolved into a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing. Prana Praday represents a calm, respectful approach to health — where safety, trust, and individual care are central to every treatment.

Who We Are

Prana Praday is a nurse-led mobile lymphatic drainage and massage service based in Adelaide, providing personalised care in the comfort of your own home.

Our approach combines professional clinical knowledge with gentle therapeutic techniques, supporting the body’s natural healing processes while creating a calm and safe experience for clients.

Each session is guided by careful assessment, clear communication, and respect for the client’s unique needs and circumstances.

Meet Kavita

Kavita is a Registered Nurse, graduating from Flinders University in 2015. She brings diverse clinical experience across hospital-at-home services, care of older adults, complex acute care, surgical care, chronic disease management, and palliative care.

Her professional journey led her to further explore massage therapy and manual lymphatic drainage as complementary approaches to recovery and wellbeing.

Kavita continues to upskill through ongoing education to provide safe, informed, and evolving services to her clients. She places strong importance on the energy she brings into each consultation and treatment, creating an environment where clients feel calm, supported, and safe throughout their care.

What We Do

Post-Surgical Lymphatic Drainage & Support

Following cosmetic procedures such as liposuction and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgeries, lymphatic channels may be disrupted and can take approximately three months to establish new connections.

Many plastic surgeons recognise that incorporating a series of lymphatic drainage sessions into post-operative care can significantly support recovery by assisting with swelling reduction, comfort, and tissue healing.

With her background as a Registered Nurse, Kavita is experienced in supporting post-surgical clients and is able to assist with:

Compression garments

Post-operative showers

Wound dressing support

Clients are required to provide dressing materials as recommended by their surgeon.

All post-surgical treatments are provided with care, professional judgement, and respect for medical guidance.

CONDITIONS THAT MAY BENEFIT FROM LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

Lymphatic Drainage May Support Individuals Experiencing:

Acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
(including bursitis, tendonitis, whiplash, and carpal tunnel syndrome)

Autoimmune conditions
(such as fibromyalgia and scleroderma)

Respiratory concerns
(including sinus congestion and long COVID symptoms)

Digestive concerns
(such as constipation and challenges with nutrient absorption)

Neurological conditions
(including migraines, trigeminal neuralgia, and cerebral oedema)

Suitability for treatment is assessed on an individual basis, and medical clearance may be required.

Our Approach

Our Philosophy

Prana Praday is built on the belief that healing extends beyond physical symptoms. Mental and emotional wellbeing play an important role in how the body responds to illness, injury, and recovery.

Our treatments aim to support the body gently while fostering a sense of calm, reassurance, and trust — allowing clients to feel supported throughout their healing journey.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

In the spirit of reconciliation, Prana Praday acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, and community.

We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
